Premium Pontoons


Our premium pontoons are nice roomy single level pontoon boats. Some feature a porta-potty (upon request – $25) and all feature stereos bimini tops, and swim ladders. To keep our premium boats looking great, only three of them are pet-friendly. Maximum occupancy of 9-12 people with horsepower from 90 hp – 115 hp, depending upon the boat selected.

Reservation Policies
In addition to reviewing the terms and conditions in your confirmation email, the customer must acknowledge and agree to the following before proceeding:
- Army Corps of Engineer requires renters to pay $5.00 for parking. There are two brown signs after you pass the campground on the right. The kiosk is on the right after the two signs, and before you reach the marina. You must have this parking pass to park.
- Sutton Lake is alcohol and drug free, and is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers.
- Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to fill out paperwork.
- Weather related cancellations are entitled to a 100% refund on the day of your reservation (minus the convenience fee if you booked online). If you cancel for any other reason the day of, we cannot issue a refund. If you cancel within 48 hours, you can receive a full refund (minus the convenience fee if you booked online). If you cancel within 24 hours, you can receive a full refund (minus $100.00 and the convenience fee if you booked online).
- A boater's safety card is required for drivers born after December 31, 1986. We can issue you a temporary boater's safety card upon your arrival that is good for 24 hours. The cost is $5.00. - The rental boat or jet ski will be filled back up with gas upon return to the Marina. The Renter is responsible for the cost of the gas.
- A security deposit is required upon arrival. You can either leave a credit/debit card at check-in that goes into our drawer, or cash. The card will not be charged or authorized. The card or cash will be returned to you upon return, as long as there is no damage to the vessel. The security deposit for pontoons, double-slides, and jet skis is $300.00. The security deposit for houseboats is $500.00.

Premium Pontoons Policies
Important items to know before you arrive:
- Army Corps of Engineer requires renters to pay $5.00 for parking. There are two brown signs after you pass the campground on the right. The kiosk is on the right after the two signs, and before you reach the marina. You must have this parking pass to park. You will need to park in the asphalt parking area. You may pull down to the gravel drive to unload, then move to the asphalt.
- Sutton Lake is alcohol and drug free and is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers.
- Please arrive 15-30 minutes early for pontoon rentals, and 30 minutes to 1 hour for houseboats, to fill out paperwork.
- All renters must sign and date a Rental Agreement and Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement.
- All renters must have a valid Driver’s License with them, and allow us to make a copy or take a picture of your license.
- Cancelation Policy: Weather related cancellations are entitled to a 100% refund on the day of your reservation (minus the convenience fee if you made your reservation online). If you cancel for any other reason the day of, we cannot issue a refund. Cancellation Policy – If you cancel within 15 days or more, you will receive a full refund minus a $100.00 cancelation charge, and the online booking fee (if you made your reservation online). If you cancel 15 days or less, you will lose any amount you have paid for the reservation. If you need to change the date of your reservation, you may do so one time (some restrictions apply, such as different seasonal rates, and whether it falls during a holiday period). "No Show" reservations are responsible for the full amount.

- Towing of anything is not permitted behind any of our rentals.
- Sutton Lake is a “float and drift” lake. Due to the depth of water, we do not put anchors on our rental boats.
- Sutton Lake Marina does not sell fishing licenses. They may be obtained online at www.wvfish.com or Wal-Mart.
- If the boat you reserved is damaged in a prior rental or not available for any reason, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable boat for your rental. If you are not satisfied with the substitution, you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit.
- The rental vessel will be filled back up with gas upon return to the Marina. The Renter is responsible for the cost of the gas, and must pay before leaving.
- A security deposit is required upon arrival. You must either leave a credit/debit card, or cash, at check-in that goes into our locked safe. The card will not be charged or authorized. The card or cash will be returned to you upon return, if there is no damage to the vessel. The security deposit for pontoons, double-slides, jet skis, and Craig Cats is $300.00. The security deposit for houseboats is $500.00. All vessels are inspected before and after each rental.
- If damage occurs and the machine cannot be rented until repairs are made, you will lose the entire damage deposit and are subject to fees while rental is out of service. Renters are responsible for ALL damages, even if they are more than the $300 damage deposit amount. If there is no damage to the machine, your entire damage deposit is refunded.
- Optional Damage Loss Waiver – A non-refundable damage loss waiver is available for $19.95, $24.95, or $29.95, depending on the vessel. The damage loss waiver covers damages above $300. See agreement for details.
- Renter and driver must be age 21 or older. There is a maximum of two drivers per jet ski or Craig Cat.
- Passengers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present on the vessel during jet ski or Craig Cat rental usage.
- Passengers must be at least 44″ tall for a jet ski or Craig Cat.
- Navigation area – Access to all of Sutton Lake up to the second railroad trestle. Rentals are NOT permitted to navigate past this point.
- Follow all "No Wake" zones rules. A No Wake Zone is a designated area on the water where vessels must operate at the slowest possible speed, producing no noticeable wake or waves. This typically means operating at “idle speed,” which is the minimum speed required to keep the vessel moving forward without creating a wake (5 miles an hour or less). Boaters must reduce speed before entering the zone. This is strictly enforced by the Corps of Engineers.
- All safety equipment is provided with your rental.
- There is a $50 cleaning fee for any vessels that don't come back in the condition it was in when you left. The cleaning fee for the houseboats are $100.00 if instructions on the checklist are not completed before you check out.
- If any items are missing from a vessel, you will be charged a fee to replace the item.
